Alternative Process: Gel Medium

For this alternative process I decided to do the gel medium because I thought it was so cool. I didn't want to do the other ways of gel medium on fabric or paper because the wood gave it a more rustic feel and I thought it worked better with the image I chose and the fact that it worked better as a gift. The reason I chose this photo for this process is because I took the photo last summer and it was taken at the Terre Bleu Lavender Farm. It's such a beautiful and interesting place and the yellow door in the field of lavender just looked so pretty that I had to take a photo and use it for this assignment. My mom was the one who had the idea to go so that's why I chose to use it and gift it to her.
