Breaking the Rules

For the first photo I took for breaking the rules, I decided to take a photo of the pipes and structures lining the top of the atrium of the school because they're all going in different directions, breaking the rule of lines. They're creating different shapes, going in completely different angles and directions.

For the second picture, it breaks the rule of balance because the angle I took the photo from is off centered, the hallway is taken more from angle so the row of lockers closest to the camera set the photo off. For this to be balanced the row of lockers would be equally outlining both sides since the photo would be taken from the middle of the hallway as opposed to the right side.

The last photo breaks the rule of thirds because the open locker is centered in the middle of the photo making it look super wrong and choppy. For this to follow the rule of thirds it would either have to be closed or one of the lockers to the far right or left would have to be open. The open door in the center interupts and ruins the look of the photo and how smooth and neatly they all align.
